Batcombe Heritage Centre
Whether you're looking for information about your ancestors or are just interested in the history of the Batcombe area, the Batcombe Heritage Centre is a treasure trove of information, with records, photographs, documents and other archive material dating back centuries.
We welcome all visitors with either a personal or professional interest in the social, economic and geographical history of our local community.
The Heritage Centre is located in the Old School building and is open every Saturday from 2-5pm, or by appointment at other times. We do ask for a contribution of £1 per hour (or £5 membership) to help us with the running costs of this facility.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow items to be borrowed from the Heritage Centre but printing and photocopying services are available for a nominal charge.
Please do pop in to browse the archives any Saturday afternoon, or contact us on 01749 850311 to make an alternative arrangement.
